Houston Woman Admits NFL's Arian Foster 'Never Harassed Me About Abortion'
A college student who recently accused Houston Texans running back Arian Foster of pressuring her to have an abortion now seems to be backtracking on her statements, saying in a taped conversation with Foster that the NFL player "never harassed [her]."
Brittany Norwood, a senior at the University of Houston, made national headlines last week when she filed a lawsuit against Foster, claiming the professional football player impregnated her in 2013 and then "constantly harassed [her] to get an abortion for the child." Norwood also claimed to have been unaware that Foster is already married with children when she and the football player first became intimate. Norwood's lawsuit was filed earlier in January, and now a Houston Judge ordered both Norwood and Foster to respect mutual restraining orders against each other while the case plays out in court.
Recent audio released by TMZ reveals Norwood allegedly confessing to Foster that the statements provided by lawyers in her lawsuit are inaccurate.

"I never once said that you told me to get an abortion," Norwood allegedly tells Foster in the recording released by TMZ.
"You never harassed me. Like, I will tell him that verbatim. Like, as I have told him that, and that something in here needs to be [expletive] changed because it's not fair, because -- and I said that. I was like Arian's not a monster," Norwood continues, adding, "Like, I'm sorry that those papers … because I was told that they weren't going to go anywhere. He said, you know, this is just to get the ball rolling, and then if we settle outside of court, we settle outside of court and it never goes public."
When TMZ reached out to Norwood, the college student reportedly claimed she had no recollection of the recorded conversation she recently had with Foster.
Foster was largely off the media radar during the 2013 season due to a back injury that allowed him to play only eight games. The running back allegedly met Norwood first at a summer training camp in Houston, and the two later spent time together in November in California while Foster recovered from back surgery.
Norwood claimed in her lawsuit that both Foster and his brother, Abdul, approached the 20-year-old multiple times about her pregnancy and attempted to pressure her into having an abortion. One text message sent by Foster allegedly read: "You just can't bring a life into this world under these circumstances. It's not fair to anyone. It's not just about you."
Norwood told KHOU-TV that she's scared of the future of her child, especially because Foster does not want to pay medical expenses for the pregnancy and birth. "I'm 20, I'm scared, I'm another single mom," she told the local media station.
