Khloe Kardashian Saves Friend From Plastic Surgery, Christian Leaders Offer Opinions

Khloe Kardashian has talked her close friend, actress Malika Huqq out of undergoing plastic surgery on the most recent episode of their reality show "Khloé & Lamar."

On the latest episode of Khloé & Lamar, 27-year-old Kardashian spent an entire episode trying to convince the 29-year-old Huqq that her body did not need any plastic surgery. However, Huqq was not so convinced.

"I do think I have the body of a 12 year old," Huqq told the television cameras. "I'm near 30, I'd love to have the body of a woman!"

Still, Kardashian thought her best friend desired plastic surgery because of a failed relationship. Huqq previously dated Adrian Wilson, Arizona Cardinals safety who was reportedly married while they were dating.

Although Kardashian did not disagree with people getting plastic surgery, she cautioned her friend to make sure that her desire to get breast implants was for the right reasons.

"I'm not opposed to plastic surgery if you're doing it for you, but is this something you want to do, or are you just doing it because you and Adrian broke up," Kardashian questioned.

Pastor Craig Groeschel of LifeChurch.tv previously spoke about the motive to have plastic surgery factoring into God's views about it. "My stance is ... God is going to look every time at the motive," he said on LifeChurch.tv. "If you're trying to find your self-worth and your security in your appearance, I promise you you are fighting a losing battle. Gravity and time will always win no matter what you do."

Shane Pruitt, the lead pastor of Connection Community Church in Rowlett, TX spoke about plastic surgery being potentially dangerous. "What is the reasoning and the heart behind this decision that (people are) trying to make? Is it something that they are trying to do just to grab the attention of the opposite sex," Pruitt questioned. "That could be dangerous."

However, Dr. Karyn Carlo, interim pastor of the Church at the Garden First Baptist of Garden City, N.Y, said undergoing plastic surgery is not sinful. "Plastic surgery is not inherently sinful," Carlo said, stating that some women who were forced to have a mastectomy may consider it. "There are good reasons to have it."

Still, Kardashian was able to convince her best friend to reconsider having a cosmetic surgical procedure done.

"Maybe I was trying to get large breasts for the wrong reasons," Huqq admitted in the episode.
