Kim Kardashian Auctioning Items for Church

Kim Kardashian is working to sell some items on eBay that she can donate to Life Change Community Church.

Kardashian, 32-year-old reality television star, has been promoting her eBay store to over 17 million Twitter followers and letting it be known that she plans to give a portion of the profits that she makes to her church.

"My eBay auction ends in just a few hours," Kardashian tweeted Sunday night. "Proceeds support the Life Change Community Church! Xo."

The reality television star also left a message on her eBay store website to let other people know that they could follow in her footsteps and donate proceeds from their individual eBay stores to charity.

"A percentage of the proceeds from this and all my auctions always benefits charity. A portion of the sale from these auctions support Life Change Community Church," she wrote on the Kim's Closet Clothing Store eBay website. "And in case you didn't know, anytime you sell something on eBay, you can donate a percentage of your proceeds to charity. Learn more at eBay Giving Works."

The Life Community Church was reportedly set up by Kim's mom and manager, Kris Jenner, along with Rev. Brad Johnson, according to Hollyscoop reports. In a previous interview on "Piers Morgan Tonight," Kardashian mentioned the importance of tithing.

"Whatever it is, I give 10 percent away to the church and that's what I was taught. Every year," Kardashian told Morgan. "Absolutely."

In an interview with media mogul Oprah Winfrey, Kardashian confessed that she was an avid churchgoer.

"I hardly drink, I go to church on Sundays," Kardashian told Winfrey last year on "Oprah's Next Chapter." "I'm so far removed from my image."

The reality television star spent much of 2012 in church, she claims. Kardashian was pictured attending services at Life Change Community Church in Agoura Hills, Calif.

"On [my] way to church with the girls," Kardashian tweeted before attending a service for New Year's 2012. "I want to start a bible study group with my friends."
