Kim Kardashian Divorce: Former Publicist Says Marriage Was Staged

The former publicist of Kim Kardashian revealed he staged several of her former big media events that made headline celebrity news, and he claimed her wedding was probably staged as well.

Media speculation swarmed Kardashian’s highly publicized divorce from Kris Humphries, with many questioning the legitimacy of the marriage that lasted only 72 days.

Although both Humphries and Kardashian denied rumors the wedding was just a publicity stunt, a man who was closely involved in the reality show star’s affairs said on a talk show it is very likely the wedding was a sham.

Jonathan Jaxson, who was Kardashian’s publicist from 2007 to 2009, went on “The Elvis Duran Morning Show” last night and shared details of some of the media events he helped staged:

“I staged several of the moments that the world has seen of her, such as a ring that we alleged was from Reggie Bush,” claimed Jaxson.

“It was Dec. 26, 2007. I remember the day. She was going shopping with her grandmother and her mom and we said, ‘Let’s do something to get more press for you.’ She said, ‘Perfect. Let me go to a ring store and walk out as if Reggie Bush were proposing to me… I have ring I love and adore. It is seven carats. I’ll keep it in my purse,” Jaxson added. “It was calculated to a T and then it was leaked to a magazine.”

Kardashian has not responded to the revelations, but the reality show star will most likely not admit to the media and her fans that her wedding and her marriage were staged to generate the maximum media exposure.

Whether it can be proven how legitimate the marriage was, the event placed the celebrity spotlight firmly on Kardashian and made her a top trending star.
