Kim Kardashian Wedding: Does Kardashian's Conflict Over Divorcing Humpries Prove Star Was Sincere?

A reportedly conflicted Kim Kardashian has flown to Minnesota for a face-to-face meeting with soon to be ex-husband Kris Humphries. Does her apparent conflict prove that her intentions in marrying the basketball star were sincere?

According to TMZ, the reality TV star was seen traveling with an apparent bodyguard as she moved among other travelers at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport around 5:30 a.m. local time Sunday.

Kardashian was not followed by reality TV cameras, due to what is described as her sense of owing Humphries a private face-to-face chat in person.

It is reported that Kardashian had expressed uncertainty about ending her short marriage even before filing divorce papers. The star had cried before making her final decision, as she shared in a blog post to fans about the divorce.

Since the announcement that Kardashian had filed for divorce after just 72 days of marriage, many have speculated as to the motive of the popular TV star.

In an interview with RadarOnline.com, former publicist Jonathan Jaxson, of JJ Public Relations, accused the star of being "selfish."

"She's very selfish and she knows what she wants her image to be," Jaxson said.

Still, Kardashian has denied selfish motives in her marriage to Humphries. In the statement issued on her website, she denied that she had also profited from her wedding:

"There are also reports that I made millions of dollars off of the wedding. These reports are simply not true and it makes me so sad to have to even clarify this. I’m so grateful to everyone who took the time to come to my wedding and I’ll be donating the money for all the gifts to the Dream Foundation."

As for her marriage with Humphries, Kardashian said:

"First and foremost, I married for love. I can't believe I even have to defend this. I would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show! I share so much of my life on a reality show, that contemplating whether to even film my wedding was a tough decision to make, and maybe it turned out to not be the smartest decision."

It was reported on Sunday that the estranged couple would meet with the pastor who presided over their wedding to discuss the issue of divorce.

In a statement to Hollywoodlife.com last week, Pastor Joel Johnson described his meeting with the couple as sincere:

"It was a meaningful conversation. I've known Kris a long time and gone into some deep places with him. I felt really good about the meeting. I felt what I experienced was genuine."
