Kim Kardashian's Life is a Lie, Says Spencer Pratt

Former cast member of MTV's "The Hills," Spencer Pratt, claims to know the truth behind Kim Kardashian's wedding.

Pratt wrote a column for The Huffington Post's Style section and spoke about being interviewed for Jo Piazza's new book, Celebrity Inc. He said the interview was perfect timing because the Kardashian/Humphries wedding spectacle and now divorce scandal was unfolding.

This is key because Pratt said the book is about the art form of celebrity hustling and how to make money as one. He said, "Celebrity Inc. is truly the star map of hustling. It exposes the machinations famous people use to profit off what they call their 'fans' aka 'consumers.'"

Pratt went on to say how celebrities knew how every move they made would have some sort of repercussion whether positive or negative. He believes Kim and her mother Kris knew how to get every penny out of people.

"I'm sure they know how every move they've made in Kim's life has been part of a money-making strategy. Reading Jo's book shows you exactly how this stuff goes down. It takes the vague idea of "that looks fake," and turns it into, "that is fake, and here's exactly why," he said in his article.

He also said once reading the book you will be able to figure out the Kardashian family is lying when they said no money was made off the wedding. "When I was manipulating the media for profit I was blatantly obvious about my attention-seeking antics, with the goal of making money off stories and photos. I never thought I was putting one over on the audience/viewer/reader," he said.

The reality star said in his Huffington Post article that Kris Jenner's book tour during Kim's divorce was no coincidence.

The revelations made by Pratt in his article tie together many unusual aspects of the constant back and forth reporting of the Kim and Kris Humphries saga that has dominated just about every media outlet.

Following the path of Pratt's story, Kim ironically has a movie coming out called "The Marriage Counselor" and Humphries is experiencing unemployment due to the basketball lockout but now is making money on appearances and royalties for appearing on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."
