NSYNC Reunion Tour? 'Who Knows' Says Lance Bass, 'We Could Do Something Real Special'

The proof of N'SYNC's successful reunion during MTV's Video Music Awards can be found in one question: "Will there be a reunion tour?" Apparently though the thought that has crossed the minds of at least a few thousand fans, members of the boy band group are not saying "no" just yet.

N'SYNC fans aren't the only ones who like the idea of a reunion tour featuring the '90s boy band; members of the band appear to agree too. Former band member Lance Bass said in a recent interview that a reunion would be "lovely." A second member said "never say never." But that doesn't mean that there will be a reunion tour anytime soon.

"It would be lovely to do it, but we've got nothing planned," Lance Bass told the Associated Press on Monday between breaks of his Sirius XM show, "Dirty Pop With Lance Bass."

Band member Kris Kirkpatrick said the focus on Sunday was more about honoring Justin Timberlake, who was awarded with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, and the different achievements during his career. Timberlake became a member of N'SYNC in 1995 when the group was first formed.

During an interview with an Orlando radio station, Kirkpatrick said the award show reunion "was what it was, and this was a moment for Justin to get his accolades and for us to say we had so much respect for what we did."

"For him to honor us the way he did- it really was kinda crazy," he added.

Timberlake is currently on tour for his most recent album The 20/20 Experience. The tour extends into February of next year. Despite denying plans for a reunion, Bass suggested that when Timberlake was finished with his tour, anything could happen.

"Who knows what will happen when he's off tour. It's simply not part of the conversation right now. We just focused on that one performance," Bass explained. "If we did anything like that, I think we would come up with something real special where we could actually call it `The Reunion.'"
