'Punk'd' Returns and Even the Kardashians Are Not Safe

Popular mid-2000s celebrity prank show, "Punk'd" has returned, except this time its host and co-creator Ashton Kutcher is not part of the mix.

According to the Huffington Post, the season premiere will on Monday, March 19, on MTV. Whereas before Kutcher would appear at the end of the episode, the new "Punk'd" is a reboot and will feature a different celebrity host each episode. A few early hints at who the hosts are: Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Bam Margera, and Dax Shepard.

In a statement from MTV, they claim the pranks are bigger and better than before, and promises viewers a look behind the scenes to see what goes into setting up the unknowing celebrities.

It is unclear as to why Kutcher is not directly involved with this project, but many speculate it is because of his increased celebrity status, the demands of "Two and a Half Men," or possibly the divorce he is going through with Demi Moore. Kutcher was the host of the show from its first run in 2003 up until its last run in 2009 appearing in 104 episodes according to IMDB.com.
