Samsung Galaxy S2 Android 4.0.4, Ice Cream Sandwich ROM Leaks
The Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich update has barely made its way to the Galaxy S2 on the major carriers in the U.S., and already a new ROM has surfaced that allows the device to run Android 4.0.4.
This ROM features the latest build of Android 4.0, excluding the upcoming 4.1, JellyBean software, and there have not been many changes made to it since 4.0.3.
There have been reports stating that the Galaxy S2 will not get Android 4.1, but that is still up in the air. Less powerful devices are already scheduled to receive the software including the Nexus S, so the Galaxy S2 should be capable of running it.

The Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade is now available for the Motorola Droid Razr and Razr Maxx, according to a recent Twitter post created by Verizon.
In order to access the upgrade, Droid Razr and Razr Maxx users must manually download Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich. The software can be downloaded when a user selects settings on their Razr smartphone, then selects About Phone that will lead them to System Updates.
The upgrade was originally scheduled to come to the Motorola Droid Razr on June 12, but when the date arrived there was no frozen treat in sight.
Verizon chose to address its customers through a text message and confirmed that the update was coming soon.
"Your phone will soon be upgraded to Android 4.0. At that time we will remove your Verizon Wireless Mobile IM app because it is not supported in Android 4.0. Please download a new instant messaging app to use IM on your phone. Thank you for using Mobile IM!" wrote Verizon in the text message sent to Droid Razr smartphones last month.
