Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher Split Causing Even More Rumors?

The latest news of divorce between Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore has arrived amid widespread rumor and gossip; but are there even more media hurdles ahead for the ex-couple?

Kutcher has debuted on NBC’s “Two and a Half Men” replacing known playboy Charlie Sheen. Many fans are questioning if the 33-year-old is destined to follow in his predecessor’s footsteps when it comes to Sheen’s professional life as well as personal life. The media remains ablaze with comparisons between to the two actors, implying that the allegations of Kutcher’s infidelity during his marriage are reminiscent to Sheen’s numerous personal affairs.

On his sixth wedding anniversary to Moore in September, Kutcher allegedly spent the night with a 22-year-old woman in San Diego while his wife was working in New York City. Also, in a lesser-known scandal last year, Kutcher was accused again of having an affair with another younger woman.

Another topic heavily weighed by the media is what new Twitter handle Moore will use on her frequently-used account. Currently tweeting under @mrskutcher, the handle is likely to change in the near future following the actress’ divorce announcement last week.

According to her statement, Moore ended the marriage over “values and vows” that she holds sacred, leading the public to believe that the cheating rumors are true.

Moore’s divorce announcement said: “It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life. This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation.”

Shortly after Moore’s statement, Kutcher posted on Twitter, “I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK.”
