Galaxy Note 2 Docking Accessory Appears on Samsung's U.S. Web Page

Samsung has posted up its new docking accessory for the Galaxy Note 2 onto its U.S. webpage.

The component has some exciting features including a full sized HDMI output capable of 1080p video support, a 3.5-millimeter audio output, and 3 standard USB ports for hooking up peripherals to the device.

With all of these different features, this dock can turn the Galaxy Note 2 into a mini computer once it is hooked up to an HD television.

Unfortunately the dock is not yet available for purchase and Samsung has stated that customers won't be able to get their hands on the accessory until another two weeks.

The accessory costs $100 and will make the Galaxy Note 2 a much more useful device.

The Galaxy Note 2 has been launched in the U.S., however some customers are still waiting for the phablet to ship and will not receive it until late Nov.

The device was released on all of the major U.S. carriers last week.

"Get ready: the Galaxy Note 2 is coming to AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile USA, U.S. Cellular and Verizon Wireless starting tomorrow! Get the latest on your carrier," wrote Samsung Mobile USA last week on its Facebook page.

However, AT&T only stated that it would begin accepting pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 2 on Oct. 25, not ship it on that date.

AT&T priced the device at $300 with a new 2-year contract.

The Galaxy Note 2 also launched on T-Mobile.

"Samsung innovation at its best, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 offers unmatched power with a large screen and new slimmer design," reads the carrier's page for the phablet. "Create produce, and share with this fun all-in-one device."
