Twilight Breaking Dawn: Kristen Stewart, Pattinson, Lautner Leave Imprint at Chinese Theater

Twilight author Stephenie Meyer has praised superstars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner for bringing the beloved characters from her novel “to life.”

The stars in the upcoming installment, “Breaking Dawn,” imprinted their hands and feet in cement outside of the historic Chinese Theater on Hollywood Boulevard during a brief ceremony hosted by Jimmy Kimmel Thursday morning.

Author of Twilight Stephenie Meyer attended, and offered praise to the trio of actors who brought her adored characters to the big screen.

“I’m excited for them and I’m also very proud of them,” said Meyer, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “Their lives have changed a lot in the last few years and they’ve done it with such class and an amazing ability to just stay balanced and stay who they are, which I think is a really rare and amazing talent.”

“Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” is the fourth addition to the film series, and hits theaters Nov. 19.

“Having spent the last year watching this last movie be filmed – it’s amazing,” Meyer continued. “It’s not a glamorous job, and I knew that, but to see it every day and to see the often horrible conditions, the ridiculous hours. Everything that they go through, everything they expend in the service of these characters is really touching to me. I’ll never not be grateful for what they’ve done.”

The Hollywood landmark was swarmed with “Twilight” fans as the stars added their prints to those of mega celebrities such as Jennifer Aniston, Elizabeth Taylor, Fred Astaire, and many others that were there before them.

Stewart spoke briefly during the event describing that she loves her job.

“I’ve been so enamored by this business – Hollywood – I think this is the coolest thing I’ve ever done in my life,” said the 21-year-old actress. “This is insane that I’m doing this and I think they should start talking now,” she continued before pushing co-stars Pattinson and Lautner toward the microphone.
