Beyonce Pregnant: Confirmed Due Date February, Family Hoping for Boy!

After revealing her pregnancy at the VMAs Sunday, Beyonce is reportedly hoping for a baby boy when she is due to deliver this February.

On the red carpet Sunday, Beyonce held her baby bump and told reporters, “I have a surprise!” Since then, fans and media outlets have been abuzz with speculation over when she and husband Jay-Z can expect their first child.

A source close to expectant couple revealed that Beyonce is almost 4 months pregnant and that the baby is due in February.

“She and Jay are absolutely overjoyed,” said the insider to RadarOnline. “Her whole family is really excited.”

Beyonce’s younger sister, Solange, has a seven-year-old-son, Juelz, and the insider added: “Of course having a little boy for Juelz to play with would be ideal, so they have their fingers crossed.”

“But both Beyonce and Jay are just so happy to be having a baby, they don’t care what it is!” Concluded the source.

During her performance of “Love on Top” at MTV’s 2011 VMA’s, Beyonce said to the audience, “I want you to feel the love growing inside of me.”

Then, at the end of the song, the singer unbuttoned her jacket to reveal her baby bump, which she lovingly rubbed while smiling broadly at the camera.

Earlier this summer during an interview with Piers Morgan, Beyonce shared that she wanted to have a baby by the age of 30. The former Destiny’s Child member will celebrate her 30th birthday next month.

Beyonce also spoke about her relationship with her husband, saying, “Jay and I have kind of made a decision that we want to be known for our music and not our relationships or scandals. But he is amazing.”

Jay-Z received jubilant praises of congratulations following Beyonce’s performance Sunday from fellow celebrities, and the couple continues to receive a deluge of well-wishes on social media outlets.

“Love is the foundation of everything, everything I do. My music is inspired by love – from my family, my husband, my sister,” said Beyonce.
